I`m a student from germany and i write an essay about Jean Baptiste Arban, a french composer who lived in the 19th century. Does anyone have any information about him. He wrote the famous "Carnaval de Venise" for trumpet. Perhaps there are some trumpet players who know something about him. And do you have something about the history of the trumpet and the cornet?
