This may sound stupid but does anyone know what a Rondino is. Cant find anything under google or throughout the web. Is it an italian variation on the word rondo?

Not stupid at all! I actually didn't know either, but i asked my music teacher
he says if a rondo is being referred to as a movement in a sonata or the likes, a rondino is a short rondo. I'm guessing a shorter piece...? still not sure!
hope it kind of helped!

"The term rondino is a mere affectation; these pieces are neither short nor easy: beautiful they certainly are, when finely performed." Belle Assemblée. So, yep, it means short(er).

Whilst I have your interest (please) can you help with some research? I'm basically being asked to design a classical music programme/brochure and I would like your opinion on what works best please? Should it be A5 size or 1/3 A4 (so it fits into your jacket pocket?) Do you like pictures? Do you care what the artist looks like or do you want text so you can read about them? That sort of thing. Any advice is useful thanks. Much appreciated. Joe

Size wise, it really depends on how much information and how professional youre planing on making it. An A5 will seem much more formal and i'm guessing it will hold much more info and pictures. Pictures and information on the artists are great for people who want to expand their cultural knowledge so it also would depend on the audience.
hope this wasnt too late!
