hello. i really want to get a friend of mine a book of some classical duets so that we can play them together. we`ve played petite suite by debussy and that`s the kind of stuff that we really enjoyed together. so if anyone has intermediate type difficulty 1 piano 4 hand duets (you know something that`s good, but that we can just sit down and play) that you really enjoyed, please tell me. just something that may be slightly challenging, but enjoyable.
thanks.

What about Liszt`s transcription of Paganini`s caprices( my fav.)? Or Dolly suite by Faure? Tchaikovsky`s Nutcracker suite? Actually u can find duets just about for anything. Even ensemble works like Arrival of Queen Sheba has been specially arranged for piano duet. And I saw that yr requesting for 4 hands on 1 piano, well , why not try 4 hands on 2 piano? It is really fun. And sounds really wonderful. Lennox Berkeley`s Polka for two pianos is really exciting to play also. What abt. some traditional Bach? Some Bach has been specially arranged for two pianos.

...Not forgetting The Animal Carnival also. That is absolute fun when u play on 2 pianos.

yeah i was thinking about faure. i found a good deal online for the faure which i am not familiar with plus ravel`s mother goose which i am. thanks for some of the other ideas. yeah we`ve done dual pianos, but it`s sometimes hard to find two pianos in the same spot to play. for some reason i feel like most of the opera and symphony transcriptions are 2 piano stuffs. so i might just get on that faure/ravel deal i found. thanks for the help.
