Hello,

I am looking for some folk music (preferably Canadian folk music) that is written for the following combination of instruments:

violin (fiddle)
flute
piano and/or guitar

vocals (optional)
accordian (optional)
oboe (optional)


There seems to be a lot of solo fiddle music available as sheet music but it is more difficult to find fiddle music written with another part for a flute and a piano.

We are looking for folk music such as traditional folk music, waltzes or eastcoast maritime fiddle music (or even ragtime music).

At this point I am thinking of traditional pieces such as I'se the Bye (from Newfoundland) or some folk pieces by Gordon Lightfoot but I am not sure if they come written with a secondary line for another melodic instrument such as a flute - we might have to improvise one.

Any suggestions of any other song titles, folk songbooks or where I could find such sheet music?
