Hi, I`ve listened to some of Rachmaninovs music lately and I really like it.. some of my friends are playing his G minor and C# minor preludes, awesome music. Is there any other sonata/preludium/work by him I should check out? I would like to learn a piece of him to play in my piano exam, its my second instrument but I practice quite much.. any suggestions? thanks

It depends on yr Grade, thus yr selection. Which diploma or college year are u doing now? U may wanna check out all of his preludes, caz they`re quite suitable as exam pcs. What abt. his Etudes tableaux , moment musicals, Sonata or even his Variations?

...continued...U know what? Liking is one thing. U should try the pcs out and see whether they fit u, esp. technically and stylistically. It`s pretty much just like buying shirts. And esp. so if yr taking exams.
