This piece is rather complicated, at least it seems to me relative to your level. Ya have to be familiar with scales to play it. Try getting someone to help you. It`ll help.

You should be able to find for yourself the fingerings that suit you best, and if you can`t, wait a bit until you try to play it. Anyway, I have the original version with fingerings; email me for it if you want it.

Listen, just drop me an email and I will gladly send the music to anyone who wants it. It`s just that I don`t come too often on the forums, so I never know if people are asking for it or not.

Just do chromatic scales like there`s no tomorrow.

I don`t think this is the best way. There are several places where you can play at least three or four measures without having to move your hand... Chromatic scales make the hand move too much along the keyboard and sometimes it`s just not necessary.

Or possibly 5-note chromatic runs up and down.

I`ve played it before with the cello and it`s better if you just take it slow. I mean play it several times slower.

I think so, TurkeyVulture, more or less, although there are some bits where you have to go up a bit and then down, but it`s pretty much what you said... And Sean, I do think one has to learn it slowly, I completely agree with that, but you`re not going to make it sound like an agonising turtle for ever and ever? This is supposed to be a quick piece!!
