I`m playing that right now too? First let me ask you:

1. Did your teacher assign you this piece?
2. Is your left hand ready for the challenges?

If you said yes to both of them, then I can help you. If not, you should stop, work on another piece, and come back sometime in your lifetime.

I would suggest working section by section. Like, the first three left hand runs. And only do that part untill you can get it up to 80 on the metronome. (Slowly working up notch by notch on the metronome!! Not only that, but playing it perfectly at least 2x before notching up.) Once you`ve done that, move on to the next section. (Notice how I said SECTION, not entire page. You will get discouraged and start playing wrong notes if your mind has to think that much.) Also, another thing, when practicing sections, always play one more note in the next section to get yourself use to playing through sections. NEVER play the entire piece slowly WHILE PRACTICING. Also, when your ready to connect sections, practice playing the last measure of the first section and the first measure of the second section together at least 3x perfectly. Then you`ve got it! Continue through the entire piece. If you can play the entire piece decently at 80, do the sections again and play at 100.

E-mail me if you have any more questions.

Well, there`s actually a really really useful trick for speeding up passages like this. It has to do with sequential fingering and bite on main pulse.... Why don`y u come to solomusic and I`ll tell u how. BTW, musicetc`s domain was bought over, that`s why u couldn`t find it. So all those who wish to speed up running notes and etc., see ya at solomusic. I`ll be there 10 hrs from now...after work.

I have a recording on this. U can listen to the one in soundclick.com ( look under artist DW and YT ), since musicetc has been bought over.
Thank you , bye.

I think someone who has played as long as you have would be pretty well prepared for it, unless you spent the last 5 years doing nothing.

.....unless you spent the last 5 years doing nothing......
LOL...Sure, I`ll like to spend years doing nothing. Imagine doing `nothing`...I can sleep as I want, go shopping as I want.
I think if one evr get the chance to do `nothing`..it`s a real privelege that God has given u. What do u think?
