Well, I have heard many arguments. I have heard arguments for Tuba, because the bell points towards heaven, and I have heard arguments against french horn (and tuba) because they are all wrapped up tight and inefficiently. These people argue that it must be some straight instrument, such as a clarinet. But it also needs to point heaven-ward. So that gives us a few saxophones. But would God play a saxophone? I think not. They rank right up there with bag pipes and violins in the ugly/painful department. So that leaves us with but one instrument. The bassoon. God plays a bassoon, if he plays anything.
