His Chopin CD is fantastic! Every note is as if played by a god. I love it!

Although personally I feel that his performances are not that impressive, Yundi Li is a charming person. According to his interviews, I feel that he really strives for perfection in music. Besides his profounded love to music, compare to Lang Lang, he is much wiser and he is a modest person though. What I like him is not only his musical talent but also his attitude. He is a real musician/pianist/artist!

why does always somebody compare Yundi Li and Lang Lang, only because the are both Chinese?
For me they are different persons and both great pianists.

because I would want to emphasize Yundi`s passion to music. If you want, I can compare his musical expression with other pianists.

Yes, Yundi Li was the one that got me interested in Chopin. Now he is my favorite composer. My favorite piece by him is Scherzo No.2 in B flat minor. It seems like Horowitz sounds like crap when he plays it.

horowitz emphasizes on the quality of every note he plays, and he puts too much his own expression on the pieces when he plays.
i haven`t seem any pianist who plays more like chopin or lizst than yundi does..
