Die Soldaten von Celle was composed as the ’march on’ of the massed bands at the 1982 Celle Tattoo in Germany. In 2011 it was slightly modified with the addition of a counter-melody in the recapitulation of the bass solo.
It has been recorded and may be found on the LP record entitled ’The Vikings’ (the nickname of the 1st Bn The Royal Anglian Regiment).
