The melancholic and beautiful "Barcarolle" is the movement for the month of June taken from Tchaikovsky's set of pieces for piano entitled "The Seasons". Here it is arranged for Wind Quintet by Philip Le Bas, who aims to capture the lingering harmony and subtle melodic lines implied, though not always written, in the original piano part.
