Second part of a trilogy, "Views of the North Valley". The North Valley of Albuquerque includes a large section of meadow pasturelands, or "prados", now slowly being transformed into tract housing and businesses. The prado at first glance looks like a very mellow, tranquil place with not much happening, but upon closer investigation, a wide variety of animals (rabbits, hares, roadrunners, coyotes, lizards, butterflies, ants, and much more) can be found. This piece seeks to represent this habitat. For full concert band.
