When I first read this poem written by a friend of mine I was inspired to set it to music, and this song is the result. It's intended more as a performance piece than for use in congregational worship. Thanks go to Jenny for allowing me to use the text.

Now that I look back on this piece, I think I accidentaly played the ending different in church. I didn't roll the chord and I played F,G,A,C three times with a rit. and then I played the two lowest Fs on the piano
with the F,G,A,C chord and rolled it. Ooops. Oh well still a great piece! Look forward to hearing more.

This song is a WOW!!! I listened to this song at least 5 times and am practicing it on both the clarinet and the piano! The words are so powerful, and put with that melody. Can I play this at our church
