This piece is centered around cross sticking and the mechanics of figure eights and other difficult maneuvers. Make sure when you do the figure eights that you make clean sweeping motions with your moving hand and keep the other hand close to your body as it circles to do another sweep. Keep all crosses clean because sloppy crosses look bad, don't sound right, and will cause you to develop sloppy crosses. This piece is extremely difficult and is ideal for a solo for an expert tenor player. Remember, start at a nice clean pace then work your way up. If you need to you can cut out the second part of the figure eights part of the cadence.
