I am a professional bass guitar player and tour manager (now retired) and now, at the age of 66, I am switching over to French Horn...sounds easy....right? I must be crazy! However >> 8notes.com to the rescue! LOL! On bass I have performed with many of the major symphony orchestras in the US including; Honolulu, Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Cleveland, Detroit, Nashville, Boston Pops, Baltimore and the US National Orchestra in Washington DC. It has been a wonderful career, but for me, the idea of starting over as a beginner on French horn, one of the most difficult instruments in the orchestra, is like being a kid all over again! I can`t wait to get up in the morning and practice! I am also interested, and accomplished in digital orchestral composing using software libraries, and have my own studio where I love to compose, record and produce everything from orchestral soundtrack music to hard rock music. My playing credits as a studio musician include lots of TV/Film recording in the Los Angeles scene including; The Rockford Files, Hill Street Blues, Magnum P.I., The A-Team, Quantum Leap, and TV commercials from Nike, Levis, Bank of America, Budweiser, and many many more.
