My name is Shirla Miranda and I am 16 years old. I live in a group home. Don`t let that scare you away, I`m not bad. My mom can`t take care of me, cause she`s got problems. I`m currently trying to get into a foster home and I am also trying to start a band with my music teacher, favorite staff member and some of my friends. I sometimes wish that I could go back in time and live with my mom still, but other times I know it`s not good. I`m also writing a book. It`s going to be called "The ramblings of a teenager". It`s not that great, but it`s okay. It will definitely tell you how my life is in general. I'm having some problems with getting over someone, though. I can't stop thinking about him.

My interests are music, reading, writing (songs, poems and books) and I also enjoy hanging out with people by phone, internet or in person.
