Dad was an amazing Clarinet player. He was a big band musician who played with everyone. I played with Dad from 3 to 31. My last gig was at his funeral. I really never played again. I played on a Buffet he bought me for my 8th birthday. I became a drunk. I sobbered up two years ago. My sober jazz friends say I will never heal till I play again. So here I go. This ones for you Dad, on your favorite Artley Prelude. Help me find my chops on earth - cause I know your jazzin up heaven.
