I live in New Zealand and play the saxophone.
I've been playing at grade 8 level for the past 3 years now, but I lack the funds to actually sit the exam. I wish I could, then I could teach.
I play clarinet at about grade 5 level, and piano at about grade 6.
My violin is awaiting repairs (I bought it second hand), and I play at about grade 4.
Guitar I play for fun, I'm refurbishing a second hand electric guitar.
Voice - I mainly sing tenor, despite being female. I can also sing alto, contralto, and have been told I could make a good mezzo. If I could just be bothered taking lessons.
I got into music after being told I couldn't continue gymnastics due to an injury when I was nearly eleven.
For a long time, I thought I would go to university, study music majoring in composition, and then hope to get a job writing scores for movies.
Instead I am at art school, doing a painting major.
