Learning to play tenor sax, hope to take grade 1 in November.
Passed with merit, much to my surprise. Now joined a jazz ensemble, practising once a week.A bit scary to start with, seeing all these school children/ students playing with so much confidence.
Tried guitar a couple of years ago but couldn`t make my aging fingers work well enough
Joined a jazz workshop, a lot of it over my head but making some progress.
Played in public a few times now, the best was Ipswich Music Day, the biggest free music event in East Anglia (England) See IPSWICH MUSIC DAY JAZZ on You Tube & see us play The Hustle.
