I played an alto in grade school. Was OK. I'm 33 now and bought a cheap, cheap, cheap tenor from wwbw online last year and am loving the new sound. Selmer C 3* hard rubber mouth piece with a rovner ligature. I use Rico Royal reeds and Vandoren V16's, mediums.
