I am 60yrs old and have been teaching myself clarinet for about 1 year now with varying degrees of success, however my enthusiasm more than makes up for my lack of talent. I live aboard a sailing boat with husband and we are currently cruising in SE Asia. I play a Selmer Prelude which is forgiving in the climate we live in. I chose clarinet because it takes up so little space and as my husband has 4 guitars on board we need to save space.
I may not be very good but I love it!
