I been play the tin whistle in a traditional Irish/Celtic music since 2009 studying with some of the finest whistle players un Ireland. I teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced tin whistle in-person and online lessons to adults and students with a focus on Irish rhythm and ornamentation. I present workshops for adults on tin whistle for Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp near Muskegon, Michigan. I also play a 6-keyed early 18th century designed wooden flute.
I perform in a traditional Celtic band called Uneven Ground and an American/Irish folk trio called Langford Lads. Both bands have given workshops in Irish music performance to middle and high school students throughout Michigan.
