I started playing guitar at age 5 and fell in love with music. I played trumpet in school from 7th grade through graduation. I played in both concert and marching bands, as well as our annual competitions.
However, after graduation, life happened: music was put on a shelf for far too long.
About 5 years ago, I started playing again. First for relaxation, but that quickly grew. I self-studied bass and classical guitar and have now returned to the trumpet. I also teach guitar and bass at our local fine arts center.
My plans for the immediate future are to become involved in an area community concert band. I SO miss performing. It will be a long road back, but I`m enjoying the ride.
