I'm 30, mother of 3 (8,6,4 years), British living in France for the last 10 years...someone get me out of here! There's only so many baguettes a person can stand...I'm married to a lovely Frenchman (that's the plus side) with a heart-melting accent when he speaks English. I work as a translator (French to English), a far cry from my studies in Anglo-Saxon, Gothic and Old Norse, which I am trying to get back to; much more fun than French!
I've been playing the flute since I was 8; stopped for 8 years after the birth of my first, not quite sure why, and have just recently started playing again - it does me the most wondrous good - great for keeping calm when the 3 of them start getting up to mischief! - and has got all three of them interested in music.
Love finding out about other people - love the magic of coincidence - which is never really coincidence - and the subtlety of life.
