An aria from Mozart's Opera Don Giovanni. Sung by Zerlina, a peasant girl, Masetto's fiancee. Masetto is angry at Zerlina for going off with Don Giovanni, so Zerlina pleads with him to beat her if he wants, but that she is innocent of anything to do with Don Giovanni.
