Sheet Music in 3/4 time
The 3/4 time signature, also known as "waltz time," is characterized by its strong-weak-weak rhythmic pattern, having three quarter-note (crotchet) beats per measure (bar).
As well as the Waltz, other examples of 3/4 time include the Minuet, the German/Austrian Ländler and one of Chopin's favourites, the Mazurka.
